Founding Bodies
The Sir Misha Black Awards have been supported since their inception in 1978 by the founding bodies. The present committee members represent the Design and Industries Association (DIA), the Royal Designers for Industry (RDI), the Royal Academy of Engineering (RAEng), Imperial College, London, the College of Medallists, and since 2020 is administered by the Royal Commission for the Exhibition of 1851.
